Combining two application techniques is the key to dimension, and finishing the color service with two glazes that you melt into one another takes your dimension to new heights!   Starting Level: Natural Level 5 (more…)
  1. 1Step 1 of 5

Apply Formula A from base to ends and process at room temperature for up to 20 minutes. Shampoo, condition and blow-dry the hair. Divide the hair into the areas of the head: nape, back, sides, crown and top.

  2. 2Step 2 of 5

Using Formula B, start in the nape and work toward the top in ½-inch diagonal sections. Finely weave the hair and place in foils. Continue in this manner until all sections of the head are completely foiled.

Pro Tip: Foiling first gives you a lighter blonde, which will add dimension later.

  3. 3Step 3 of 5

Using Formula C, balayage the hair between foils using a L’ANZA Balayage Board. Process at room temperature until highlights have reached a Level 9. Shampoo, condition and blow-dry.

Pro Tip: Start your balayage at the nape and work up so you can let it process without touching the balayaged hair as you work.

  4. 4Step 4 of 5

Apply Formula D from scalp to midshaft and Formula E from midshaft to ends, blending together. Process for 20 minutes. Shampoo, condition and blow-dry.
