To begin, create clean sections for appropriate application. Then, starting on the right side of the head, apply two of the same Pops of Color together for a bold effect.

Complete a full row using this technique, alternating between different Pops of Color.
For this look, Vicki used the Pops of Color Rooted Mini Strand Plus 17” in colors GN/5R, TL/3R, PR/4R and the Mini Strands 17” in Color 4.

Move to the next row, remembering to create super-clean sections. Apply two different Pops of Color together to create a blended and vibrant effect. Complete the second row using this technique, alternating between different combinations of colors.

For subtle pops around the face, pair a Pop of Color with the client’s natural haircolor on top. Then complete the third row using this technique, again alternating between colors.

Use the same application method on the left side of the head.

Point-cut the extensions to match the length of the client’s hair.

Finish the cut, then use a flat iron to create waves for the final look.
