First, start by sectioning the hair to isolate the Mohawk. Starting at the hairline, weave slim subsections and apply Formula A to the roots, feathering it down into the mids.

Feather lightener down into mids and ends where extra lightness is desired. Continue foiling through the top section back to the crown. Then, finish by placing micro foils throughout the sides of the head where pops of brightness are needed.
Pro Tip: Customize your blonding result with various developers: Start with IABT® Lightening System + 10-volume Keratin Complex Developer (1:2) for your first section and increase to 20-to-30-volume developer for your last section of foiling.

Using diagonal partings, take finely weaved subsections and apply Formula A from the mids to ends. Haley uses a wet balayage technique to avoid lines of demarcation and continues through the entire back of the head.

Wash the hair with Keratin Complex Blondeshell® Shampoo to remove lightener and rinse. Then, use the Keratin Complex KC Primer Keratin Pre-Treatment Shampoo to prep the hair for the Express Blow Out® Smoothing Treatment application. Rinse and completely towel-dry the hair.
Pro Tip: When using KC Primer, do not scrub or agitate hair while shampooing. Use your fingers to lightly distribute the pre-treatment shampoo through the hair to eliminate tangling and ease the EBO application step.

Section hair into four sections and apply EBO to wet hair using 1-inch subsections.

Use a fine-tooth comb to evenly distribute the product from base to ends.

Then, blow-dry the hair with a paddle or round brush in small sections making sure each section is completely dry.

To finish, use a flat iron to smooth any uneven pieces or frizz.
