Prep damp hair with Aveda Brilliant™ Damage Control.

Apply Aveda Phomollient™ Styling Foam and wrap-dry the hair. Wind 1- or 2-inch sections around a large metal clip, twisting as you wrap.

Comb the hair to its natural parting. Beginning in the nape, take a 1- or 2-inch section, and wrap it around a large metal duck bill clip from roots to ends using a twist-and-turn technique.

Using a flat iron with medium heat, press the hair on the clips for 20 to 30 seconds or until the hair is heated through.

Remove the clips, let the hair cool, separate with fingers and brush through.

Repeat until all the hair is set, pressed and cooled. Separate the curls with your fingers to create definition.

Brush the curls with a Mason Pearson brush to create a fuller shape, and apply Aveda Light Elements™ Texturizing Creme as needed to refine the texture. Set the final shape with Aveda Brilliant™ Medium Hold Hair Spray.
