Apply the mixed Formula A to dry, unwashed hair from roots to ends, and develop for five minutes. (Wella's new Color Renew reduces undesired oxidative color without lightening the natural haircolor.) Rinse hair well only, and dry the hair completely. Then, section the hair as shown—from ear to ear, one section in the back and a large triangle section on top.
- 3Step 3 of 15

Start at the side section, and apply Formula B, alternating with Formula C in a brickwork pattern, leaving ½ cm spacing between foils. Alternate a V brush stroke and a triangle brush stroke as you work on the foil. Continue in the same way through the front section.

- 5Step 5 of 15

Repeat on the other side.
- 6Step 6 of 15

In the back section, apply Formula C at the roots only, with a random stretched application to create shadow. In the front area between the foils, apply color Formula D on the remaining hair from root to ends. Develop, rinse, shampoo, towel-dry and apply Formula D for 5 minutes. Rinse hair well.
- 7Step 7 of 15

For the cut, begin by taking a horizontal section in the nape. Using no tension and no elevation, cut a square line. Continue cutting a square line until all of the hair has dropped down.
- 8Step 8 of 15

To begin your layers, take a square section at the crown, and elevate above 90 degrees. Use texturizing shears to remove weight.
- 9Step 9 of 15

- 10Step 10 of 15

Continue taking these sections until you reach the fringe area.
- 11Step 11 of 15

To style, on damp hair, apply EIMI Root Shoot for precise root lift and EIMI Sugar Lift for voluminous, grippy texture and shine.
- 12Step 12 of 15

Using a small round brush, blow-dry to create a strong bend in the hair.
- 13Step 13 of 15

With a small barrel curling iron, work through the entire head, taking large, random sections. Finish the look with a light dusting of EIMI Stay Essential to keep a touchable texture.
