Starting in the back, use a backcomb balayage technique to apply Formula A. “This helped blend the dip dyed look in the back,” shares Anja.

Once you reach the top where the chunky highlights are, alternate between weaving and backcomb balayage to continue applying Formula A. Then, switch to Formula B when you reach the front sections.

Note: As you work your way around the head, make sure to remove foils from any previously lightened sections when they reach the desired lift.

When she has 15 minutes of processing left, use Formula C to color each section that was backcombed to ensure a seamless blend. Rinse and blow-dry, then apply Formula D to the roots and Formula E from the midlenths to the ends. Rinse again, then apply Olaplex No.2 for 20 minutes.
