- 1Step 1 of 10

After cleansing and conditioning the hair with American Crew Daily Moisturizing Shampoo and Daily Conditioner, section off the top and bottom portions into a horseshoe parting.
- 2Step 2 of 10

Start with an American Crew Master Clipper (Metal 1) and proceed to place it directly onto the scalp, moving upward in a vertical panel.
- 3Step 3 of 10

Based on the desired exposure, start to pivot away from the scalp, and then immediately switch to a clipper-over-comb method while moving up the vertical panel. For consistency, use the first panel as a guide to maneuver around the bottom half of the head effortlessly. Use the anchor-pivot-suspend method.
- 4Step 4 of 10

Moving to the top section of the head, use American Crew Light Hold Texture Lotion as a cutting aide and section the hair into a t-shape parting.
- 5Step 5 of 10

Starting on the right side, use horizontal sections to connect the bottom half to the top half of the head using overdirection for desired disconnection. Continue using horizontal sections on both sides of the head and crown.
- 6Step 6 of 10

To achieve the desired length, use side-to-side sections and overdirection, moving from the apex forward.
- 7Step 7 of 10

Apply a small amount of American Crew Fiber to damp hair and use a blow dryer and Denman brush to create volume and separation.
- 8Step 8 of 10

Create internal and external texture by using side-to-side sectioning with an American Crew Feather Razor. Make sure to examine the full haircut and make any reassignments you see necessary.
- 9Step 9 of 10

As a finishing touch, sprinkle American Crew Boost Powder onto the roots of the hair to create height and natural volume.
