Natural level: 4/Medium Brown
Sectioning
1. Create a vertical parting from the high point of the head to the top of the ear on each side.
2. Create a diagonal forward parting from the high point of the head to the temple area on each side.
3. Create a vertical parting from the high point of the head down the center back.
4. From a point about two inches above the left ear, create a diagonal back parting that ends in the center back. Repeat on the opposite side. - 2Step 2 of 6

Starting in front of the left ear, place a ¼-inch diagonal back slice onto a foil.
Apply Formula A to the Zone 2 area (midshaft) and extend the formula to the ends. Without adding more product, blur the Zone 2 area towards Zone 1 (regrowth area) to softly blend. Apply Formula B to Zone 3 (the ends) and gently blur into Zone 2.
Cover with foil. - 3Step 3 of 6

From the top left section, place a ¼-inch diagonal forward slice onto a foil.
Using the same application methods as above, apply both formulas. Continue to drop down
sections and overdirect back. Repeat on opposite side. - 4Step 4 of 6

Starting in the back left nape, place a ¼-inch diagonal back slice onto foil. Use same application method as before, and complete the section. Repeat on the opposite side.
- 5Step 5 of 6

Complete top crown sections with same application methods and formulas, overdirecting to the opposite diagonal as in the sections below. Process at room temperature until the hair lifts to pale yellow, or up to 35 minutes. Shampoo and dry the hair. Apply Formula C from scalp to ends and process at room temperature for 20 min. Shampoo with Redken Color Extend, followed by the appropriate Redken Chemistry treatment.

Pro Ombré Tip: Use an angled brush for best results, and make sure to wipe your brush on a clean, dry towel before blurring to remove excess product and create a smooth transition. Continue to drop down ¼ inch slices and repeat the application method. Complete each section and repeat on opposite side.
