For a triangular face shape, this balayage technique is ideal because it compliments her natural features and softens the width at the temples.
Contouring Technique: Dark colors are great to shorten and narrow the face shape, while light colors help to add length and width. Contouring can change the appearance of any face shape by defining facial features and enhancing both natural skin tone and eye color.

Section hair as shown, creating a large circular section on top.

Take fine, diagonal slices with 1/2 cm spacing, alternating Formula A and Formula B until the entire side section is complete.

Repeat on the other side and in the back sections, continuing to alternate Formula A and Formula B.

Once the foils are complete, apply Formula C by free-handing on the hair left out and in between foils. Alternate triangle and V-shape brush strokes as you work from midlengths and ends. Process. Rinse, shampoo and neutralize. Towel-dry hair, and apply Formula D. Process and rinse.

Begin the cut by taking sections through the top. Elevate the hair and create square layers.

Elevate the hair slightly to create graduation.

Check the hair for balance.

Blow-dry the hair partially and apply EIMI Sugar Lift to create a voluminous and grippy texture with shine.

Blow-dry the hair with a vented brush.

Twist the hair away from the face and secure with a clip. Allow to cool, and then fix the shape.

Gently unwind the hair and use a vent brush to tease the hair into shape. Finish with EIMI Stay Firm.
