Before with virgin Level 6 hair. 

First, create two large sections in the hair using the top of the ears as a guide. Then, divide the top section into three sections: a triangle section that extends from the top of the crown to the front hairline and two side sections. Then, divide the back section into three sections: a triangle that extends from the crown to the top of the occipital bone and two sections on either side of the back triangle.

Starting with the front triangle, create a horizontal weave parting at the hairline and apply Formula A from roots to ends. Feather the formula at the root to create a natural color blend. 

Working back towards the crown, take two back-to-back horizontal weaved partings and apply Formula A from mids to ends. 

Continuing to work towards the crown, take another horizontal weave parting and apply Formula E from mids to ends. 

TIP: For a more natural-looking color blend, gently tease the root of the weaved partings. 

Next, take two back-to-back diagonal weave partings and apply Formula A. Follow those sections with one diagonal weaved parting and apply Formula E. 

For the last parting in the front section, create a weaved parting and apply Formula A. There should be approximately eight foils in the front triangle. 

Moving to the front side section on the right, create a diagonal weave parting at the hairline and apply Formula B. 

Continue working up the section and take three back-to-back weave partings (leaving a little natural hair out of each foil,) and apply Formula B. 

Take a weave parting in the section and apply Formula E. Repeat the process on the left front side section. 

Move back to the first front section and continue to work diagonally up towards the crown following the same pattern: three weave partings with Formula B followed by one weave parting with Formula E. For the last two to three partings in the section, switch to Formula C. Repeat the process on the opposite side, creating weave partings until there is no more hair left in the section. 

Move to the back left section. Starting at the nape, take two wide back-to-back weave partings and apply Formula C. Apply the formula low on the weave near the mids. 

Take a third wide weave parting and apply Formula E. Move to the opposite side section and repeat the application process keeping the formulas low on the weaved partings. 

Move back to the first back side section and continue taking diagonal weave partings following this application pattern: two back-to-back weave partings with Formula C followed by one weave parting with Formula E. 

For the last five weave partings in the section, switch to Formula D. To ensure a seamless color blend, gently tease each weave parting at the root. Repeat the process on the opposite side back section. 

Move to the last back triangle section at the top. Starting on the left side, take a diagonal weave teased at the root and apply Formula D from mids to ends. Feather the foilayage about 2-3 inches away from the root to add depth and dimension to the end result. 

Take a second back-to-back diagonal weave parting and apply Formula D using the teased technique. Follow that parting with a another back-to-back weave parting and apply Formula E. 

Switch to the right side of the top back triangle and continue the foiling pattern: two weave partings using Formula D followed by one weave parting of Formula E. Continue foiling until the entire  back top triangle is complete. 

Allow foils to process for 35 minutes. Shampoo with K-PAK® Color Therapy™ and towel dry hair. 

Apply Formula F in a teardrop shape starting low in the front of the head and getting deeper when applying to the back of the head. Let process for 5 minutes, then apply Formula F to the remainder of the hair (from mids to ends.) Allow 10 minutes to process and follow with K-PAK® Color Therapy™ Shampoo and Conditioner. For an added boost of shine, treat hair to K-PAK Color Therapy Luster Lock Instant Shine & Repair Treatment or Luster Lock Multi-Perfector Daily Protect & Shine Spray. Blow-dry hair and style as desired.
