Divide the hair into quadrants and apply Base Formula 1 to Zone 1, the first ½"–1" of hair. Use a Color Gear wide brush with short bristles for speed and control. - 4Step 4 of 7
Take ¼" diagonal slices and continue to apply Base Formula 1 to Zone 1. Keep the hair directed back away from the face for a neat application. Complete the application in all quadrants. - 5Step 5 of 7
Alternate pulling Base Formula 1 and Accent Formula 1 through to the ends. Start with a ¼" diagonal slice and apply Base Formula 1 to Zones 2–3, the mid-shaft and ends. Take another ¼" diagonal slice and apply Accent Formula 1 in the same manner. Continue to alternate until completing the quadrant. Repeat in the other quadrants to complete the head. - 6Step 6 of 7
Process at room temperature for 35 minutes. Rinse.
Shampoo with Color Extend. Follow with Redken Chemistry Color Extend Shot Phase and Shot Phix 3.5 pHix pHase sealer. Rinse.

Prep hair with Color Extend Conditioner. Rinse. On damp hair mist rootful 06 root lifting spray on the root area and layer lift 07 length elevating spray-gel throughout the ends. Blow-dry with a medium size round brush. For additional volume direct hair upwards with the brush, heat with the blow dryer and allow to cool for a few seconds before releasing. In the back sections direct the brush outwards to create the flip. Mist hair with forceful 23 super strength finishing spray for a frizz-free finish with all-day humidity resistance.
