With a view as colorful as a vibrant autumn sunset, it's no surprise that the captivating blend of pinks, purples, oranges and yellows makes for some stunning fall hair inspo. But melting four tones on one head is far from easy, so we got the technique deets from BTC Team Member Elise León Melnick (@hairbyelm) to learn how it's done!
Steps
1. Starting in the back, apply Formula A. As you work your way to the front, bump up the developer to 25-volume. Place each section in film and let process until she reaches a Level 9/10.
2. Rinse, then apply Formula B to the roots only.
3. Then, alternate applying Formulas C, D and E from the midlengths to the ends. Let process.
4. Shampoo with Vibrant Sexy Hair Color Lock Shampoo, then apply Vibrant Sexy Hair Vivid Memory before blow-drying. "I love using the shampoo to scrub the hairline after applying a fashion color," shares Elise. "No one wants a harsh look, and I can feel confident that it won’t pull the color off her hair or alter the look!"
5. For the style, leave straight or create loose, lived-in waves with a 1-inch curling iron to show off the different tones in the hair. Then, apply Vibrant Sexy Hair Color Lock Hairspray for extra hold and Vibrant Sexy Hair Rose Elixir for added shine.
