The Formulas

Formula B (midlengths/ends):
DIA Richesse ¾ 6.32/6GV + ¼ 6/6N + ½-inch ribbon 6.34/6GC + ½-inch ribbon 6.4/6C + DIActivateur 9-volume developer
Formula C (balayage):
L'Oréal Professionnel Blond Studio Platinium Plus + 30-volume Blond Studio Nutri-Developer + Smartbond Step 1
Formula D (gloss):
DIA Light 8.34 + Diactivatuer 9-volume developer

Steps

1. First establish a profile parting, then an ear-to-ear parting to create a four-quadrant sectioning pattern.

2. Apply Formula A as a global retouch application at the new growth area and process for 20 minutes.

3. Apply Formula B to the midlengths and ends, smudging where the formulas meet to create a diffused, blended tone. Process, rinse thoroughly and shampoo with L’Oréal Professionnel LUO Post-Color Shampoo. Then blow-dry the hair.

4. Beginning in the front sections, use Formula C to highlight select pieces, alternating between single- and double-point balayage techniques. Process to desired level of lightness and rinse thoroughly.

5. Gloss with Formula D, process up to 10 minutes and rinse thoroughly.

6. Apply Smartbond Step 2 and process for 10 minutes. Follow with L’Oréal Professionnel Vitamino Color A-OX Shampoo and Masque.
