Who wouldn't want summer to last? With L'Oréal Professionnel's "Sun Whisper" highlighting technique, you can create a beautiful, sunny look that will stay put for the whole season (at least three months!), in addition to adding dimension and shine to any length of hair. Here's how:
The Formulas
- Formula 1:
- Platinium Plus + 30-vol. Nutri-Developer (Alternate: Platinium Ammonia-Free + 30-vol. Nutri-Developer or Infinie Platine + 30-vol. Majicrème Developer)
- Formula 2:
- DIA Light 9.13 / 9BG + 6-vol. DIActivateur
Steps
1. Use 1-inch, “v” shaped subsections. Work in a brick lay pattern, with ½-inch spacing, around the head, from the low recession area up, until reaching the natural part.
2. Load planchette. Sweep Formula 1 on the mid-lengths and ends of the subsections within the pattern. Place plastic wrap between rows.
3. Allow the lightener to process until reaching yellow underlying pigment.
4. Rinse, towel dry, and apply Formula 2. Development time: 10 minutes.
Removal & Rinsing
1. Wet, emulsify, rinse, and shampoo twice with L´Oréal Professionnel Post Color shampoo.
2. Condition and preserve color radiance with a Série Expert Cristalceutic in-salon treatment.
