From busted to beautiful! This stunning clear silver is by Vanessa Cordero @babyness_sodmg at Blessed Barber Studio in El Paso, Texas. She used Schwarzkopf Professional’s IGORA ROYAL ABSOLUTES SILVERWHITE line to take her client from a grown-out mess to the perfect silver. We were so impressed with her work that we named her the winner of the Schwarzkopf Professional #silverwhites Instagram contest! Here’s the how-to.
The Formulas
- Natural/Starting Level:
- The client came in with ½-inch of Level 6 new growth, 3 inches of a previous Level 7 and Level 10 from midshafts to ends
- Formula A:
- IGORA Vario Blond + 20-volume developer
- Formula B:
- IGORA ROYAL ABSOLUTES SILVERWHITE Dove Gray + IGORA Expert Mousse 9,5-22 + 10-volume developer
- Formula C:
- IGORA ROYAL ABSOLUTES SILVERWHITE Silver + IGORA Expert Mousse 9,5-22 + 10-volume developer
- Formula D:
- IGORA ROYAL ABSOLUTES SILVERWHITE Silver + IGORA Expert Mousse 9,5-1
Steps
1. Apply Formula A at the roots and let process until the hair achieves a Level 9.
2. At the bowl, do a shampoo cap, then wash and rinse the hair after reaching a Level 10.
3. Blow-dry hair completely, then apply Formula B to the roots to three inches down. Apply Formula C to midshafts and Formula D to ends, blending between each shade.
4. Finish with Olaplex No.2.
