She uses zero VIVIDS shades on this head of hair, but still created a gorgeous, subdued smoky lavender with crème haircolor and demi-gloss shades. Get the how-to!
The Formulas
- Formula A (root)
- PRAVANA ChromaSilk 4.20 + ChromaSilk 5.7 + 10-volume developer
- Formula B (silver)
- 10g ColorLush 9S Silver Fox + 10g ColorLush 5S Silver Lining + 5g Clear + 5 drops ColorLush Blue Boost
- Formula C (lavender)
- 3g ColorLush 5V Fine Wine + 7g ColorLush Clear + 4 drops ColorLush Red Boost
Steps
1. Section the hair into thirds. Apply Formula A to regrowth.
2. Section out two pieces on both sides of the part to be toned later. Blend Formula B from Formula A to the ends around the entire perimeter.
3. Part the hair into a triangle section, then clip away the top portion. Apply Formula C.
4. Apply Formula B to the top section of the triangle.
5. Apply Formula C to the rest of the hair on the apex.
6. Process for 20 minutes at room temperature.
7. Rinse, then apply Formula B as a toner to the front pieces. Follow with your choice of PRAVANA shampoo and conditioner. Style as desired.
