The Formulas
- Formula A:
- Kenra Color Demi-Permanent Rapid Toner SV + Kenra Color Demi-Permanent Activator
- Formula B:
- Kenra Color Permanent 7SM + pea-sized dollop of Kenra Permanent 1N + Kenra Color 10-Volume Developer
- Formula C:
- Kenra Color Permanent 10SM + Kenra Color 10-Volume Developer
Steps
1. On hair that has been pre-lightened to a Level 10, pre-tone with Formula A.
2. Apply Formula B at the roots, 1 ½ inches from the scalp, and on the entire length at the front hairline.
3. Apply Formula C on the mids and ends using a free-form, hair painting technique.
4. Blow-dry the hair, then use a cocktail of Kenra Professional Flexible Fiber 11 and Classic Clay 17. “Since his hair is fine and silky, the Classic Clay helped add grit and texture and provided the support I needed to make it stand and hold,” Mirella said. “The Flexible Fiber softened up the product just enough so I could add that piecey texture through the ends.”
