The Formulas
- Formula A:
- Wella Professionals BLONDOR Multi-Blonde Lightening Powder + BLONDOR 20-volume developer + b3 Brazilian Bond Builder
- Formula B (root gloss):
- Redken Shades EQ ¾ oz. 07N + 1/8 oz. 07V + 1/8 oz. 07P + Shades EQ Processing Solution
- Formula C (end gloss):
- L'Oréal Professionnel DIA Light 1 oz. 10.12 + ½ oz. 10.21 + 15-volume developer
Steps
1. Create four sections, one section in the back, one section for the crown and two sections on either side.
2. Apply Formula A as babylights to the back and side sections using alternating diagonal and horizontal partings.
3. Create diagonal parted sections and apply Formula A to crown using a foilayage technique. Michelle's foilayage technique is a combination of taking slices and alternating between fine and chunky weaves, some being teased and some not.
4. Balayage all remaining hair using Formula A from mids to ends and let process for 25 minutes.
5. Apply Formula B to the roots and Formula C from mids to ends and allow 10-15 minutes for processing.
6. Spray Unite 7SECONDS™ Leave-in Detangler and apply Unite BLOW&SET™ Lotion. Blow-dry hair until dry.
7. Curl with the T3 1¼ curling iron.
