Plums for fall? Absolutely. These rich, wine-colored tones add subtle ribbons of color for the ultimate dimensional haircolor. So, when Carolynn Judd (@styled_by_carolynn) shared this violet and magenta balayage on Insta, we had to get the deets. Here’s how she did it!
Total chair time: 4 hours
Pricing: $180
Steps
- Apply Formula A and balayage the hair, painting where you would like to see the brightest magenta.
- Weave slices in between the balayage for depth and apply Formula B. Process until the lightened hair lifts to a Level 8. Then, rinse and shampoo but skip the conditioner.
- Towel-dry. Then, apply Formula C all over the hair. Process for 20-25 minutes. Then, rinse and style.
