Lighten up! Colder weather may be rolling in, but that doesn’t mean your clients have to ditch their sunny, summer hues. Gregory Alan, Colortrak Artistic & Technical Director, shows you how to keep your clients “pretty in pink” this season! Here’s how to get the look:
The Formulas
- Glaze:
- Level 9 Gold Demi Gloss Color
- Formula A:
- 3 Parts Clear + 1 Part Pink Deposit Only Color
- Formula B:
- 1 Part Clear + 1 Part Pink Deposit Only Color
- Formula C:
- 1 Part Pink + 1 Part Red Deposit Only Color
Steps
1. Begin working on previously highlighted hair and Glaze the entire hair, process, then dry hair completely.
2. Isolate 3 zones (as shown in diagram) using Colortrak Croc Clips.
3. Starting in Zone 3, work in diagonal back panel sections toward the back of the ear. Apply Formula C from midshafts to ends using the Colortrak Ultra Color Brush.
4. In Zone 2, work in vertical slices to fuse Formula B into Formula C from midshafts to ends, working to the back of the ear.
5. Then in Zone 1, work in horizontal slices to randomly apply Formula A fused into Formula B from the root area to ends.
