Here at BTC, we’re always on the lookout for seasonal color inspiration, and fall is one of our favorite seasons—color gets cooler, deeper, richer. Cuts are more polished. Intricate styling comes back into play. To start this season off right, we tracked down the formula for this stunning, cool-toned color melt from Anna Bianca Clark (@annabiancahair), a Sola Salon stylist in Redlands, Calif. The Formulas
- Natural level:
- 6N
- Starting level:
- Faded, Level 8 ombré
- Formula A:
- Equal parts Max Lightener + 30-volume developer + Olaplex No.1
- Formula B:
- Fashion Colours: 10g Amethyst + 10g Cobalt + 5g Clear
- Formula C:
- Fashion Colours: 10g Hot Pink + 5g Amethyst
- Formula D:
- 10g 12SI Ultra Light Silver Blonde + 10g 2 Transform Activator
Steps
1. Balayage using Formula A. Process for 30 minutes, shampoo and rinse.
2. Starting from the bottom and working your way up, apply Formulas B, C and D using a color melting technique, alternating between the formulas on separate strands. Process for 15 minutes, then rinse.
3. Apply Olaplex No.2 then condition and style as desired.
