The Formulas
- Formula A (foundation):
- ¾ oz. 8SM + ¼ oz. 7SM + 1 oz. 20-volume developer
- Formula B (anchor):
- 1 oz. 8SM + 1 oz. 30-volume developer
- Formula C (accent 1):
- Lightener + 10-volume developer
- Formula D (accent 2):
- 1 oz. 7SM + ¼ oz. Blue Booster + 1¼ oz. 10-volume developer
Steps
1. Section the hair into a heart shape at the crown of the head.
2. Apply Formula A to the hair, leaving out the heart shape that was sectioned in Step 1.
3. Inside the heart sectioning, starting from the center of the heart, alternate Formulas C and D using a pivotal slice and skip slice application.
4. Apply Formula B between foils applied in Step 3
5. Process for 30 minutes.
