The Formulas
- Formula A (decolorizing):
- Joico Color Intensity Eraser + 10-volume LumiShine Developer
- Formula B (highlights):
- Joico Blonde Life Lightening Powder + 20-volume LumiShine Developer (working up to 30-volume)
- Formula C (between foils):
- Joico LumiShine Demi-Permanent Liquid 9NV + 8N + 5-volume LumiShine Developer
- Formula D (root tap):
- LumiShine Demi-Permanent Liquid 6N + 8N + 7V + 5-volume LumiShine Developer
- Formula E (toner):
- LumiShine Demi-Permanent Liquid 10SB + 9V + Clear + 5-volume LumiShine Developer
Steps
1. Apply Formula A to remove the previous color, then rinse and follow up with a treatment to strengthen and nourish the hair.
2. Foil the hair using Formula B, then apply Formula C between each foil.
3. Apply Formula D along the roots, let everything process and rinse.
4. Tone the hair using Formula E.
5. Rinse, then blow-dry and style as desired.
