This dimensional caramel bronde with face-framing ribbons features bold placement and refined blending for a high-contrast yet seamless finish.
Using chunky weaves and diagonal-back slices, San Diego-based salon owner Victoria Avalos (@girlorgun) built brightness through the crown and around the face while keeping depth and richness through the interior. The technique enhances the haircut’s movement and contour, delivering a luminous, low-maintenance look with dimension and balanced warmth.

2. Start by highlighting the hair with Formula A. Victoria uses a “halo highlight” pattern by applying three bricklay foils in the back of the head with a chunky weave. Then, she applies six foils on each front side of the head with diagonal back slices ands chunky weaves.
3. Process and rinse. Then, tone with Formula B for a rich, caramel finish.
