Steps
1. Janae began by cleansing and purifying the hair with Paul Mitchell Charcoal Clay Cleanse to remove buildup, chlorine, copper and minerals to create a clean, fresh canvas of hair.
2. Then, she applied Porosity Equalizer to towel-dried hair to balance the hair’s porosity, ensuring even color absorption and optimal results. She applied Porosity Equalizer by sectioning, spraying and combing evenly throughout the hair.
3. Janae mixed Formula A with Bond Rx Step 1 Professional Bond Builder to strengthen and protect the strands before lightening.
4. Then, she foiled Formula A in horizontal sections alternating slices and weaves to create natural dimension and seamless blending throughout the hair.
"This approach ensured controlled lift while maintaining softness at the root and brightness through the ends," shared Janae.
5. She let the foils process for about 40 minutes before rinsing.
6. Next, she applied Bond Rx Step 2 Professional Bond-Building Sealant to towel-dried hair, let process for five minutes then rinsed.
