The Formulas

Formula A (base)
1 oz. Redken Color Gels Lacquers 3N + 1oz. 10-volume Redken Pro-Oxide Cream Developer

Steps

1. Apply Formula A to Zone 1 (the base), process for 20 minutes and rinse.

2. Start weaving all-over babylights through the entire head using a Briana Cisneros-inspired foilayage technique for quicker application (Learn the technique here!). Mika recommends focusing heavy painting on the face-framing pieces for a bold money piece effect.

3. Process for 25 minutes and rinse. Then, apply Formula C as a root smudge—by creating a dark base for pastel ribbons to fall off of, this will create a dramatic and high contrast results.

4. Process for 20 minutes, then rinse. Treat and style as desired!
