Bauhaus Salon owner, Frances Canola (@frances_hairartist) used a foilayage technique for her application and put a twist on this classic color by toning with violet for some added ash. Here, Frances breaks down her color formula to help you achieve this look.
The Formulas
- Formula A
- Kenra Professional Simply Blonde Blue Powder Lightener + 30-volume + b3 Brazilian Bond Builder.
- Formula B (Toner)
- Kenra Color Demi-Permanent Rapid Toner SV + violet booster + Kenra Color Demi-Permanent Coloring Creme 9-volume.
Steps
- Tease hair and apply Formula A in a V shape for each section to avoid hard lines. Process for about one and a half hours or until client is lifted to a level 9.
- Tone using Formula B.
- Blow style and style using a 1 1/4 curling iron and seal with Kenra Texturing Spray.
