Cara Delevingne was a vision in black at the 2018 Met Gala, making it extremely easy to spot a pop of pastel pink peeking over that gorgeous, statement-making Dior headpiece. And it was done by none other than longtime stylist Mara Roszak (@mararoszak)! Keep reading to find out how she created Cara's peek-a-boo pink.
The Formulas
Formula A:
Joico Color Butter Pink + Purple + Joico Blonde Life Brightening Conditioner
Formula B:
Joico Color Intensity 1/8 oz. Pink + 1/8 oz. Amethyst Purple + 1 oz. Clear
Steps
1. Apply Formula A to damp hair, let sit for 5 minutes and then rinse thoroughly. For a longer-lasting color, use Formula B.
2. Then, rough blow-dry to keep the volume and texture intact. (This step was important so Cara's hair could be seen over her headpiece.)
3. Once the hair is dry, apply Joico Hair Shake to sculpt the hair and give it movement.
4. Finish by spraying Joico Power Spray Fast-Dry Finishing Spray for extra hold.
