Do you have a fun-loving client who wants to add some pink to their strands? This bold blend of bubblegum pink coming off of a dark base is the way to go! Not only is the pink shade and shadow root trending, but it gives off some serious "girl power" vibes.
Here's how Sara Hinckley (@saripants) and Emily Anderson (@emilyandersonstyling), both new members of The BTC Team, collaborated to create this poppin' pink color using the new Matrix SoColor CULT line!
The Formulas
- Formula A:
- Matrix Light Master Lightening Powder + Light Master Freehand Additive + 25-volume developer + Bond Ultim8
- Formula B:
- Matrix Color Sync SPV + 10-volume cream developer
- Formula C:
- Matrix SoColor CULT Red Hot + SoColor CULT Disco Silver + SoColor CULT Bubblegum Pink
- Formula D:
- SoColor CULT Bubblegum Pink
Steps
1. Balayage using Formula A to create a canvas fit for pink color.
2. Apply Formula B to pre-tone, let process and rinse.
3. Then, apply Formula C to the root area and melt Formula D to the rest of the strands. Let process, then rinse, shampoo and condition with Biolage R.A.W. Color Care.
4. To completely lock in the color, apply the Biolage R.A.W. Color Care Acidic Milk Rinse for 10 minutes. Then rinse, blow-dry and style as desired.
