Redken Ambassador Sara Botsford (@sarabotsfordhair) created this shimmery, multi-tonal copper with three formulas, assisted by Alivia Tavanello (@bylivtay). Her client? BTC’s very own Senior Editor, Social & Digital Storytelling, Lauren Freas (@laurenfreas). Scroll down to get Sara's formulas for this blonde-to-copper transformation.

Steps
1. On dry hair, start the color application: Sara begins with Formula A, Formula B and Formula C in three separate bowls.
- Formula A: Apply to the base.
- Formula B: Apply to the mids. In areas where Sara wants to maintain tonal depth, she’ll use a wider application.
- Formula C: Apply to the ends.
Pro Tip: Avoid color transfer by keeping a towel in your apron to wipe your hands in between each application.
2. Process and cleanse.
3. To enhance vibrancy, apply Formula D as a glaze. Process and cleanse.
4. Apply Redken Acidic Bonding Concentrate 5-Minute Mask, rinse and begin styling.
5. Finished look:
