For clients who want to transition their haircolor between seasons or simply can't decide between blonde and brunette—bronde is the perfect in-between color that blends subtle high and lows into soft dimension. Plus, these non-committal shades allow for a more low-maintenance color routine and look good on basically every skin tone.
When BTC Team Member and blonde specialist Jenn Malone (@jmalonehair) posted this bronde balayage glow on Instagram, we HAD to share all the application details. Get the formulas, products needed and steps below! Then, watch Jenn's hybrid blonding and balayage technique for brighter blondes HERE.
Steps
1. Starting in the front around the hairline, take 1-inch V-shaped sections and apply Formula A. Jenn recommends painting heavier around the face frame for a sun-kissed effect that’s naturally lighter around the hairline. Allow to process in open air.
2. Continue to work around the head taking small sections and alternating Formula A and B in a bricklay pattern. Process in open air, then rinse.
3. Shampoo, skip the conditioner and towel-dry.
4. Starting in the back and working up the head, apply Formula C all over and fully saturate the hair. Process for 10 minutes, then rinse and condition.
4. Apply a dollop of Joico K-PAK Color Therapy Luster Lock to damp hair. This repair treatment will instantly infuse freshly color-treated hair with high shine and vibrancy.
5. Blow-dry and style with loose waves, then finish with Joico Beach Shake for an undone vibe.
