The Formulas
- Formula A:
- 1 oz. Wella Professionals Koleston Perfect Permanent Crème Color 44/65 + equal parts 20-volume developer
- Formula B:
- 1 oz. Wella Professionals Color Touch Multidimensional Demi-Permanent Color 66/45 + ½ oz. Wella Professionals Color Touch Multidimensional Demi-Permanent Color 5/4 + 1 dab Wella Professionals Color Touch Multidimensional Demi-Permanent Color 0/66 1:2 partings + 1.9% developer
Steps
- Apply Formula A from roots to line of demarcation to take dark roots to a rich red.
- Apply Formula B from midlengths to ends. Process for 25 minutes.
- Shampoo with cold water using Wella Professionals Brilliance Shampoo and Conditioner for Coarse Hair.
- Spray Sebastian Trilliant on towel-dried hair, blow-dry and polish with Sebastian Shine Crafter.
*Frances recommends a return date of three to six weeks for touch-ups and advises her color-treated clients to wash hair in only cold water with color safe shampoo and conditioner.
