The Formulas
- Formula A:
- 1 part Wella Professionals ILLUMINA COLOR 7/ + 1 part 7/81 + 0.3 parts 6/ + 4.6 parts Wella Professionals Color Touch Emulsion 6-volume developer
- Formula B:
- Wella Professionals BLONDOR + Wella Professionals Koleston Perfect 20-volume developer
- Formula C:
- 1 part Wella Professionals ILLUMINA COLOR 8/38 + 1 part 9/03 + 4 parts Wella Professionals Color Touch Emulsion 6-volume developer
Steps
- Balayage with Formula A, applying through the base and midlengths only.
- Apply Formula B and process for 20 minutes under low heat.
- Rinse, then apply Wella Professionals Service Post Color Treatment. Rinse again and apply Formula C. "Because her hair was so porous, I only let this process for 3 minutes," shares Kenzie.
- Rinse, then apply Service Post Color Treatment again.
